The student will explore the underpinning theories of differing schools of counselling. However, the main emphasis will be on the practical application of these counselling skills.  The course provides a firm footing for both those needing to have knowledge of more advanced counselling skills within their working lives [e.g. mentoring, nursing, personnel, care] and for those who wish to continue into the professional counselling arena
